Equipment Mobilization

Equipment began to arrive for construction on May 28th. Early equipment used included a Caterpillar D6 bulldozer, earth mover, and a sheep foot compactor.

The future home to the Center for Athletic Field Safety

Pictured to the left is the CAFS site in May of 2010. This area was a rolling field with about ten feet of elevation change from one end of the field to the other. The soil was a heavy clay soil.
